Annual Business Meeting
Each year, Signal Financial Federal Credit Union holds an Annual Business Meeting in accordance with our bylaws in order to update members on the status and health of their credit union, review old and address new business items, and announce newly elected or re-elected volunteers to serve on the Board of Directors and Supervisory Committee.
All members are invited to attend the 2025 Annual Meeting.

Here Are the Nominees: Board of Directors
Laura Groat, Director
As a proud credit union member and official, Laura is dedicated to ensuring the credit union provides exceptional service to its members. Laura was appointed to the Board of Directors after previously serving as Supervisory Committee Chair in 2022 and 2023. Her volunteer leadership at Signal Financial includes serving on the Supervisory Committee and currently holding the position of Chair of the Member Services Committee.
Tammy Jeffers, Director
Tammy has been a Signal member for over 16 years and a volunteer for over nine years. She was appointed to the Board after serving four years as Chair of the Supervisory Committee. In that position, she worked closely with external auditors and internal managers to ensure that the appropriate internal controls, processes, and procedures were systematically reviewed. She is currently the Chair of the Human Resources Committee.
The Board of Directors establish policies for Signal Financial and are also responsible for the direction of the credit union. Board of Directors officials serve as volunteers.
While the Call for Nominations has closed, any candidate who was not selected to run by the Nominating Committee has the option of running by petition by obtaining the authorized signatures of one percent (1%) of the total Signal Financial membership (226 as of 09/30/24). For the purpose of verification, these authorized signatures must be accompanied by the member’s printed name and address. Nominations by Petition must be received no later than February 10, 2025. If no Nominations by Petition are submitted by February 14, 2025, the election will not take place. If one or more Nominations by Petition are submitted, voting will be conducted by mail.
